Stern draws on the shterno, a star motif found in Hutsul ornament. Solid ash and metal translate that cultural reference into an expressive stool with a distinct Ukrainian identity.
Designed by Mykhailo Samoriz, the bar-height version makes the motif part of everyday seating. It belongs to a family of stools in different heights, allowing the design to be used across several areas of an interior.
