Because of the war, many people lost their homes, or were forced to leave and leave everything behind. Like trees uprooted. But even despite all these experiences and troubles, people unite and hold together like a forest thanks to the interweaving of roots. And it was these feelings that prompted me to create the painting "Roots". This is a reflection on both simple and complex things, because the word "roots" itself has several sessions. The roots grow deep into the ground, spread to the sides, and create a network. The roots give life to the plant. Roots are our connection with our ancestors. The root is the essence. This work is about resilience, connection and the spirit that is in each of us.
