The Suminagashi 500 coffee table is a compact colour accent with the spirit of a contemporary art object. Its square top, gently rounded at the corners, presents a one-of-a-kind marbled pattern, while the low proportion feels natural beside a sofa, an armchair or in an intimate lounge setting.
A cross-shaped support gives the silhouette a crisp graphic quality without making it feel heavy. A monochrome leg sets off the patterned top, while a fully Suminagashi-finished support creates a bolder continuous composition; the colour can be selected to complement the room.
In this compact model, the ancient Japanese technique of suminagashi appears as fluid drawing made by blurred ink. Ekaterina and Valerii Kuznetsov of the Ukrainian studio DECORKUZNETSOV shaped the collection around complete individuality: its special paint application cannot reproduce the same pattern twice, while colours ranging from restrained inky shades to saturated trend-led hues allow this small accent to be tuned to the room’s mood.
