Suminagashi 2300 Dining Table
- Japanese suminagashi inspired this expressive table design
- Every tabletop pattern remains impossible to duplicate
- Generous proportions comfortably welcome eight dining guests
- Selected colours connect the table with interiors
The Suminagashi 2300 dining table has the presence of a contemporary art object: its elongated top carries a one-of-a-kind marbled pattern that anchors the room and brings lively colour to the dining area. A gently rounded outline and painted MDF soften the generous scale, making the table equally compelling in a private interior or an expressive restaurant setting.
Paired sculptural supports with circular cut-outs create a distinctive rhythm while leaving comfortable room for seating. Monochrome legs offer a calmer contrast, while continuing the pattern across the supports turns the entire piece into a unified decorative composition.
The collection grew from the ancient Japanese art of suminagashi, in which ink floats across water in blurred, unpredictable lines. Designers Ekaterina and Valerii Kuznetsov of DECORKUZNETSOV translated that idea to the scale of a dining table: an exclusive painting process ensures that no tabletop can be repeated, while a considered palette of classic ink tones and vivid contemporary colours lets its generous chromatic gesture respond to a particular interior.
